Blessed with soulful mezzo-soprano vocals, Deora Clairé is a Christian Bilingual Singer-songwriter from the musical city of Memphis, TN.
Growing up in the inner city, Deora Clairé's parents instilled the importance of faith and education. She attended church every Sunday, singing hymns, and excelled as an honors student involved in multiple extracurricular activities, including several choirs. Her passion for Spanish led her to study abroad in Costa Rica during college, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish with a minor in International Business in 2016.
In 2018, while working full-time as a Bilingual Marketing Specialist, Deora Clairé released her debut EP, "Love over Hate," which boosted her confidence as an artist. The following summer, she released three remixes of her original song “Forget You,” filmed her first music video, and performed her debut set at the Delta Fair.
Despite these accomplishments, Deora Clairé faced mental health challenges in 2019, which paused her musical journey. After a hiatus, she returned in January 2022 with her debut album "Golden," reflecting on her time away. In August, she released her second album, "My Life," featuring the empowerment anthem “Destined for Victory” and other Christian-themed songs aimed at supporting others on their faith journey.
In addition to her music, Deora Clairé is a published author. She coauthored the anthology “Shattered by One’s Touch and We Overcame”, and wrote two devotionals available on the YouVersion Bible App. During the pandemic, she earned her life coaching certification and now serves as an Empowerment Coach.
Currently, Deora Clairé is working on new songs, a forthcoming album, additional devotionals, and a book. She is excited about what God is doing in her life and looks forward to making a positive impact on the world for His Kingdom.
